A FEW BILLION PEOPLE

I wrote A Few Billion People while I was working through a hard breakup, and there’s something about this one that has always felt a little bit special to me.

The heart of the song lives in the line:

“There’s a few billion people in the world,
why you stressing over someone who couldn’t see what you’re worth?”

I really want the music I put into the world to mean something to people. If a song can meet someone in the middle of something they’re going through, help a heart heal, or remind them of their worth when they’ve forgotten it for a minute, that would make my heart happy.

This one also has a gorgeous cello part played by Sergio Rabello, which brought something really special to the song. Everything else you hear….the instrumentation, production and vocals …was performed and produced by me.

It’s not out in the world yet, so for now, this one’s just for you.
